Welcome To IJFSP
IJFSP (Indonesia-Japan Food Safety Program) is an organization formed in 2010, to support Food Safety between Indonesia and Japan officially by the Indonesian government.
Indonesia is a country affluent in natural resources. Not only with a plethora of sea food that a country surrounded by oceans can offer, but also an abundant variety of agricultural goods are available.
EPA (Economic Partnership Agreement) between Indonesia and Japan was concluded on August 20 2007.
With this Agreement, the bilateral relationship will promote the liberalization and facilitation of trade and investment between the two countries and the economies of the two countries will be further vitalized through the establishment of a reciprocal economic partnership in wide-ranging fields.
Indonesia imports industrial products from Japan and exports Natural Gas, Oil and other Natural Resources including Fisheries and Coffee Beans.
Private companies engaged in food trading between Indonesia and Japan must comply with the respective applicable Law and Regulations of both countries if the benefit of EPA will be applied.
IJFSP, with an initiative by the Government of Indonesia is here to facilitate safe and legal trade between two countries.
